The Ochi Daytime Experience is a curated half-day eco-cultural adventure designed for visitors seeking authentic, memorable, and premium experiences in Ocho Rios. The day weaves together nature exploration, adventure tourism, culinary immersion, cultural storytelling, and wellness — with an optional nightlife extension at the Poco Loco Floating Bar. Intentionally boutique and small-group (5–6 guests on the pilot, scaling to 30) so the crew can stay genuinely present and the experience stays premium. The morning opens with a welcome reception and safety briefing, then a scenic transfer into Fern Gully for a guided eco-hike, followed by bamboo rafting and a river swim on the White River, and closes with a riverside chef-prepared multi-course lunch.
The Ochi Daytime Experience blends nature exploration, adventure tourism, culinary immersion, cultural storytelling, wellness, and an optional nightlife extension into a single, tightly-produced half-day.
This is the pilot format — intentionally capped at 5–6 guests so the host, chef, guide and photographer can stay genuinely present with each traveller. Future capacity scales to 30 guests once the pilot is refined; book now to be part of the small-group run.
7:30 – 8:00 AM
Meet at Island Village Plaza for introductions, a safety briefing, and refreshments with the Amina crew.
8:00 – 8:30 AM
Light refreshments, a run-through of the day, and time to settle in before the first transfer.
8:30 – 9:00 AM
Short scenic drive into Fern Gully with commentary on the landscape and local history.
9:00 – 10:00 AM
60-minute guided walk under the canopy — endemic plants, birdlife and easy footing suitable for most fitness levels.
10:00 – 10:15 AM
Quick hop over to the White River put-in for the rafting segment.
10:15 – 11:15 AM
One hour drifting the White River on a traditional bamboo raft — calm water, cultural storytelling from your captain.
11:15 – 11:45 AM
Optional swim, quiet time on the bank, and a wellness pause before lunch.
11:45 AM – 12:45 PM
Multi-course chef-prepared lunch served riverside — Jamaican produce, open-fire techniques, paired non-alcoholic drinks.
12:45 – 1:00 PM
Reflection, group photo with the crew, and official conclusion of the daytime experience.
1:00 – 2:00 PM
Transfer to the marina / boarding location with free leisure time before the optional extension.
2:00 – 4:00 PM
Add-on nightlife extension — boat transfer out to the Poco Loco Floating Bar for cocktails and music on the water.

Booking & confirmation
Reservations are confirmed once payment is completed through the secure checkout. You'll receive an email confirmation with meeting instructions and a WhatsApp contact for your host within a few hours.
Group size & availability
The pilot is capped at 6 guests per departure. If your party is larger than 4, contact us before booking so we can hold the whole run for you.
Cancellations & rescheduling
Free cancellation up to 72 hours before your start time — full refund. Inside 72 hours we can move your booking to another date subject to availability. No-shows are non-refundable.
Weather policy
Light rain does not cancel the experience. If conditions on the river or trail become unsafe, we reschedule at no cost or issue a full refund at your choice.
Age & fitness
Guests should be 10+ and comfortable with 60 minutes of easy walking on uneven ground. Swimming is optional — life vests are provided during rafting.
What to bring
Closed-toe walking shoes, swimwear under your clothes, a light towel, sunscreen, insect repellent, and a small dry bag if you have one. Everything else is provided.
Optional add-on
The Poco Loco Floating Bar extension (2–4 PM) is a paid add-on. Confirm interest with your host on the morning of the tour so boat transport can be arranged.

Easily worth twice the price
Amina Ochi Crew is the reason to book this. A curated half-day eco-cultural adventure through Fern Gully, White River bamboo rafting and a riverside chef's table — capped at 6 guests. — exactly as advertised, and then some. The pacing was perfect and the small group meant we never felt like tourists in a line.

Felt like a local for a day

Pictures don't do it justice
